Corporate responsibility manager
Data
We use an internet-based application, Credit360, to collect our non-financial data, enabling local input on a global basis, as well as accurate and effective administration, analysis and reporting.
We have steadily extended our network of global data coordinators, who prepare and submit data, along with supporting documentation for assurance purposes. Focusing on offices with over 15 employees, results now cover over 95% of our people for many indicators, with missing data estimated by extrapolation on a per capita basis.
Man's social, employee, environmental and governance performance are reviewed by several bodies, from investors to CSR ratings agencies specialising in the socially responsible investment (SRI) market, including:

Man's climate change strategy is relevant to the size, scale and nature of our business and is driven by our commitment to building and sustaining the trust of our employees and other key stakeholders. We have since 2005 made it a priority to take responsibility for our carbon impacts, through a programme of measurement and monitoring, reduction, mitigation and reporting.
The economic turbulence of recent years has prompted a thorough investigation of contributory governance inadequacies. This review and reform has helped us continue to strengthen our Board's skill set and refine the ways it governs the business and equips it to continue adding value for shareholders over the long term.
Man is committed to diversity and equal opportunity, to safeguarding all employees' health, safety and wellbeing, and to helping them fulfil their potential. We track and publish data on a range of criteria, from gender and age breakdown to length of service, to evidence our performance against the standards we set.
The data has been independently verified by the Virtuous Circle Ltd.
