We maintain open, regular and transparent communication, through 'Town Hall' meetings, regular emails from senior management, e-bulletins, business reports and business magazines via the intranet, and surveys which are transparently analysed and reported. UK and US employees are encouraged to hold shares in the business, and all employees can invest in Man products through the Wilen Trust.

Remuneration

Every employee's promotion and remuneration rewards their contribution to Man's success, and reflects individual, business unit and company performance. Our share programmes, an important element in total remuneration packages, encourage a long term commitment mindset.

Volunteering

Many of our employees are keen to 'give something back'. The ManKind volunteering scheme offers UK employees an annual extra two days paid leave to volunteer with a favourite charity or one of those supported by the Man Charitable Trust.

The environment

Many employees these days demand impeccable environmental credentials of their employer. Man has been a signatory to the Carbon Disclosure Project since 2006 and a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes since 2007, and is widely regarded as a leading advocate of the green agenda in the financial sector.

Human rights

Similarly, employees increasingly regard a clear commitment to human rights as 'non-negotiable'. We recognise human rights principles, and our responsibility to do what we can to ensure they are upheld wherever we operate.

  • Report any known violation or breach of human rightslegislation to the appropriate authorities
